In the 1970’s Peter Ormrod was a sports teacher at Barnwell School and since then enjoyed an exciting life as a skiing coach around the world.
Unbeknown to most people Peter achieved this even though he suffers from hereditary hearing loss. Peter had been wearing hearing aids for decades when, several years ago, he felt challenged to do something positive about his disability. He returned to full time study and qualified as a Hearing Aid Audiologist.
Peter has lived an exciting life even with his poor hearing and his goal is to help others ‘live the life they want with the hearing they have’.
